Im teaching on prayer in Sunday School and last Sunday I used Bill Brights online lesson on A Guide to Effective Daily Prayer.
As part of the discussion on Adoration, I recommended to the class that they read Bob Hostetlers article on how to incorporate praise in prayer. Bobs approach is to praise God for a different attribute of His every day. Bob uses thirty-one Scripture-based sentences as praise-starters and works through the list every month.
For example on day seven he praises God for his Trustworthiness:
Heavenly Father, I give you my praise and adoration, because you are a faithful God, keeping [your] covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love [you] and keep [your] commands. . . . (Deuteronomy 7:9).
